This article reinforces knowledge that I already have as well re-educating me on other topics. It is a fact that at some point in our lives we will follow some type of eating and exercise program to lose those nagging extra 10 pounds or just to achieve optimal health, however in order to achieve permanent weight (fat) loss and end the cycle of yo-yo dieting we must steer clear of the fad diets and weight loss schemes. There are guidelines that should be adhered to. This piece provided eight steps from what percentage of your total caloric intake should be complex carbohydrates, caloric intake per day, and adding exercise (aerobic, weight, resistance and strength training) to name a few. In addition, it included some facts on nutrients that work in assisting fat-loss for example, carnitine, which plays a role in the breakdown of fat and the reduction of triglyceride and chromium picolinate which was found to regulate blood sugar by clearing excessive glucose from the blood stream and shutting down unnecessary insulin production. The information provided in this piece may help the reader make healthy changes in their daily habits.
